International Mobility Programmes

History has shown that nations always entered a new development phase when they ventured to learn about how others, in the world, think and opened up to new foreign experiences. Hungarians need to understand the perspectives of others and make others understand them. One who is ready to cross geographical borders is also ready to cross intellectual limitations. The youth represent the future of the country. Therefore, it is of profound importance to include the latest international trends, ideas and perspectives into their education. There is a need for the Hungarian youth to see the world, to capitalise on their experience gained abroad in Hungary and it is also important for us to welcome international experts so that they can pass on their knowledge to young Hungarians. MCC’s international initiatives are also essential in terms of cultural diplomacy as they indirectly strengthen Hungary’s relationships with other countries.
